As I move through my fitness journey, I find new people all the time who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This new blog segment will be dedicated to those bad ass guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced me, and I hope they do the same for you.
This week’s Monday Motivator is Anna Hise (@annbann2). This girl has been an inspiration for me in SO MANY different ways. I originally met her about 4 years ago and instantly looked up to her. She was so confident and I aspired to one day have that same courage she exhibited daily. Her positivity, laughter, reassurance and radiant smile brought light to my day – and still does whenever I see her pretty face on my Instagram feed.
When I first noticed that Anna was dedicating time to fitness and living a healthy life, I was instantly inspired. I couldn’t help but think, DAMN this girl has got it all going on, I’m so proud of her. So, when I started to go to the gym more often, and realized it was something I really enjoyed, I of course looked to Anna. She was a huge reason behind my decision to commit more of my life to fitness and I’m so thankful for that. Before, I felt like the gym and working out were a faux pas in recovery and I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to find a balance if I began exercising; I was afraid I would overdo it. However, in watching Anna’s journey, I’ve learned that while it can be possible for fitness to negatively impact an attempt at recovery, it is not an inevitable outcome. Anna is killing the game every day and it’s incredible. Her posts are both encouraging and honest. She makes sure to remind everyone that we’re all in this together, and things are never easy 100% of the time, even for the people you look up to. Seeing the amazing progress she continues to make both mentally and physically blows me away. She is a main reason that I keep pushing forward every day and I hope that I can grow to be an inspiration to others like she is.
So, if you don’t already want to have Anna in your life and follow her on Instagram, here are even more reasons why you should:
– Workout ideas
– Workout motivation
– Inspiring posts
– Healthy recipes
– Her and her bf are the cutest thing!!!!
– She just rocks
Honestly, this girl is one of my insta crushes. Sometimes I forget that I actually know her in real life, and then when I remember, I feel pretty darn cool 😉
Here’s to you Anna! Thanks for being you xx
