As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those bad ass guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced me, and I hope they can do the same for you.
This week’s Monday Motivator is Mikaila Emrich (@myfitmik). This girl is killing the fitness game. Every single one of her posts motivates and inspires me to keep moving forward. I remember the first time she commented on one of my pictures, I felt so wonderful afterwards. Seeing her kind words of support made my day. She’s one of those people who seem genuinely kind and who encourages those around her while also being a one-of-a-kind boss babe.
Her posts are also always BEAUTIFULLY edited and I’m like girl how you always so flawless?????
Plus, she can do it all. She’s got YouTube videos, workout ideas, inspiring posts, custom macro meal plans and posts some of the most delicious looking macro friendly recipes (PRIME EXAMPLE: “fluffy Boston Cream Protein Waffle Stack”) on her insta page.
Mikaila is one of those people who you can tell is connecting and motivating people through her social media presence and it’s a wonderful thing. This girl has made a huge impact on how I approach fitness and life in general just through her positivity, knowledge and insightful words. She is such a bright light and a fellow Canadian, so if you don’t already follow this incredible lady on Instagram, then what are you waiting for???
