As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those incredible guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.
This week’s Monday Motivator is Kristin Barrett (@kristinb446). Kristin is such a SWEET person. Ever since I started following her, she has been nothing but encouraging, kind and positive. She is so supportive of her followers, giving helpful fitness tips, sharing exercise videos, and inspiring them to keep going!
Like myself, and many others interested in fitness, Kristin has also struggled with mental illness. She is an advocate for mental health awareness and actively shares the reality of her struggles when they come up. She reminds us that every day is not perfect, and that’s OKAY! Having a bad day doesn’t mean you’re failing or that the world is ending, it’s just another battle to fight through in life. The honesty in her posts about both mental and physical health is incredible.
Seeing Kristin’s posts always brightens my day, and I’m so glad that I get to follow her! Plus, her and her bae are adorable and will definitely have you feeling all the #fitcouplegoals feels.
Luckily for me, Kristin goes to school in the same city as me, which means that hopefully now that the busy holiday season has wound down, I’ll actually get a chance to workout with this gem!
