Monday Motivator: Taylor

on

As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those incredible guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.

This week’s Monday Motivator is Taylor Riggs (@t.riggs.fitness). Taylor is such an incredible and supportive individual, who I’m happy to consider one of my Instagram friends! She is such a bad ass and she is truly killing the game. She posts some fire workouts that you should definitely check out and incorporate into your routine! Her posts are also encouraging and full of advice and some REAL TALK. Her ability to give tough love, inspire and be genuine is amazing. In my opinion, one of her most recent posts really hit the nail on the head:

“Sometimes you just need some tough love. 👊🏼❤️This shit gets hard. This journey is not easy. You will fail and have setbacks. You will lose your motivation. You will get frustrated. You will hurt. You will breakdown, and you will cry (Lord knows I do). At times, You will not trust the process. You will have negative moments. Buck up buttercup. You got this. Put your head down and get to work. The struggles are the same for us all. You are not the only one with a busy life. You are not the only one with other obligations. … Stay positive, and be your own biggest cheerleader. I can be your cheerleader if you’re ever feeling down! ❤️🔥 you’re unstoppable if you believe it 🤘🏼❤️”

Head over to her Instagram for the full post and more of the same kick ass motivation.

Taylor is getting ready to compete this year and also in the running for the @theshoefairy_ 2018 angel search, which is so exciting!!! Wishing you all the luck girl!

I don’t even know how to put into words how much I love Taylor’s dedication, determination, and commitment. You’re doing amazing things girl. Thank you for being such a positive force on my timeline. You are truly an asset to the fitness community and I’m so excited to see what’s next for you. Keep doing you! ❤️
