As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those incredible guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.
This week’s Monday Motivator is Tyler Goodman (@eastcoastphysique @ecpvlogs). I figured there was no better way to tell you guys that I now have a coach of my own, than introducing him as this week’s Monday Motivator!
I had been going back in forth in my mind over and over debating whether or not I wanted to get a coach. As someone who hates relinquishing control, it was a really hard decision for me. Even after biting the bullet and teaming up to work with Tyler, I almost called it off within the first 12 hours. I was, and still am, scared of change and scared to allow someone else to take the reins with my training. However, I also know that an outside perspective is probably exactly what I need right now in order to turn away from my restrictive tendencies and make further progress in my fitness. Mentally this is not an easy thing for me, but I figured I’d give it a shot, see what happens and do my best to trust in the process.
Being an online coach and a competitor in Men’s Physique, Tyler is well versed in the world of fitness, nutrition, bodybuilding, etc. He has his own YouTube channel, posts on the daily, and is a reliable source of inspiration as well as information in the fitness community of Instagram.
Even before the decision to have Tyler as my coach, he was always super supportive on all of my Instagram posts, encouraging my progress and acknowledging my ability. He is always willing to listen and learn more about you as an individual. It’s not just superficial comments, it’s true interest, which is incredibly refreshing in today’s social media whirlwind. I’d definitely suggest you peep his page and if you’re thinking of getting yourself a coach then maybe look into applying through the link in his bio!
I’m super excited to see where Tyler takes me in this next step of my fitness journey! Thanks for being so motivating and for starting to kick my ass into gear. Keep doin’ you and keep crushin’ it!
