As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those incredible guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.
This week’s Monday Motivator is Marjan Mogharrabi (@healthybymarjan). Marjan is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP), and a holistic nutritionist. From fueling the body well, to staying active, this girl is all about total body health!
Marjan’s posts are always SO positive and motivational. She just radiates sunshine and good vibes, so I always love seeing her pop up on my timeline and watching her stories. She always seems up to trying something new, and incorporates a variety of different techniques into her workout repertoire. From barre classes to yoga to dancing around her bedroom – this girl is your go-to for some fun and creative exercise ideas!
Her insightful captions are amazing, like this one which she posted about getting older after her 32nd birthday:
“This week, I turned 32. ‘Well, everything’s going to start going downhill from here.’ Isn’t that the common adage? When we age, things start to decline: all the health problems, aches and pains, low energy. Am I right? But just because these symptoms are super common, it doesn’t mean it’s normal. And age doesn’t define our health.
My adage is something a bit different though. ‘Prevention is key, and food is medicine.’ The foods I eat give me energy. They gives me mental focus. And my diet and lifestyle habits keep me from getting sick so often and help to prevent against disease.
Yeah, it’s common for health to take a nose dive as we get older, but that’s not the life I’m about, you know?💁🏻Common is not normal…and 32 is the new 25, or so I’m told! #healthygirl #thisis32” – @healthybymarjan
First of all, girl you do not look a day over 25! And second of all, this enthusiastic outlook on life is so inspiring; it’s a reminder that age is truly just a number and treating your body with respect is what matters most at any age!
Marjan is also an advocate for mental health awareness! As someone who has struggled with anxiety, she is open about her struggles and supportive of those in need around her. This Canadian gal also has tips on hair care, skin care and more – when I said she was all about total body health, I wasn’t kidding! Marjan is a true #girlboss 🙌🏼 and I can’t wait to see what amazing things she has in store for the world next!
