Monday Motivator: Emma

As I get more involved in fitness, I continuously find new people who motivate and inspire me, both in my daily life and on social media. This blog segment is dedicated to those incredible guys and gals who give their all and have an admirable passion for fitness. These people have positively influenced my life, and I hope they can do the same for you.

This weeks Monday Motivator is Emma Galeucia (@coffee_and_commandos). Emma is such a sweet, hardworking and honest individual. These days honesty can be hard to find, especially on social media, but Emma’s ability to be open and candid with her followers is incredible.

Emma has recovered from an eating disorder and found balance in her life through fitness and bodybuilding. She is currently a part of team NK Athletics and absolutely crushing it in her growing phase! Her mentality and determination are so inspiring and her positive attitude makes me check myself on the daily! This girl is going places, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for her.

Emma’s captions are always on point. Here’s just one example of her thought provoking insights:

“It’s not complicated what I do. I lift 5 times a week. I eat foods that make me feel good. And I eat foods that taste good. Most of the time those overlap. I eat free meals when I have events or plans out of the ordinary schedule and when I crave them badly. When I go to the gym I push myself. I prioritize low stress and lots of sleep. I make sure I focus on the positives and reflect on my favorite parts of the day every night. I have high expectations for myself and goals bigger than me. But health and fitness and feeling good doesn’t have to be complicated or complex. It doesn’t always have to be numbers or exact. It’s solely what works for you and your lifestyle. It’s basically what makes you happy and matches your goals. It’s not complicated so let’s not complicate it/overwhelm ourselves with fancy diets, exercises, and products 😊💕”

Emma never fails to amaze me with her content, her mindset, and her dedication. She truly motivates me every day and I am so thankful for the opportunity to follow her journey through Instagram and to be a #ftfambassador with her. Social media has the ability to have such a large impact on people, and individuals like Emma, who encourage a productive and encouraging impact away from negativity, are so important.
